# Scheels vs Tulas

Scheels and Tulas both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Tulas's written reviews are positive against 58% of Scheels's. Tulas also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). Scheels's advantage is ratings volume (14K vs 52) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 6 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Scheels against 5.0 for Tulas. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scheels has 14K ratings behind it against 52, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 58% of Scheels's written reviews are positive against 100% of Tulas's.

Scheels ships an update every 9 days, Tulas every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
