# Memories vs Time Notes

The clearest difference is price: Time Notes at Free against Memories's $0.99. Time Notes also leads on rating (4.2 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (13 vs 1). Memories's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4). On review sentiment, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Time Notes is free to download; Memories costs $0.99 up front. Time Notes sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month. Memories asks for nothing beyond the download.

Time Notes holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Time Notes has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Memories's written reviews are positive against 75% of Time Notes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Memories ships an update every 6 days, Time Notes weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
