# Memories vs Current

The clearest difference is rating: Current at 4.3 against Memories's 3.0. Current also leads on ratings volume (8 vs 1). Memories's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Memories costs $0.99 and Current $0.99 up front. Current sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Memories asks for nothing beyond the download.

Current holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Current has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 78% and 78% positive.

Memories ships an update every 6 days, Current every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
