# Trueflutter vs Face

The clearest difference is rating: Trueflutter at 4.8 against Face's 1.0. Trueflutter also leads on ratings volume (3K vs 1). Face's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (13 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Trueflutter sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Face sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Trueflutter holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Trueflutter has 3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Trueflutter ships an update fortnightly, Face every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
