# Trueflutter vs KOMBYE

Trueflutter and KOMBYE both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of KOMBYE's written reviews are positive against 51% of Trueflutter's. KOMBYE also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 14) and update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). Trueflutter's advantage is ratings volume (3K vs 4). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Trueflutter sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. KOMBYE asks for nothing beyond the download.

KOMBYE holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Trueflutter has 3K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 51% of Trueflutter's written reviews are positive against 100% of KOMBYE's.

Trueflutter ships an update fortnightly, KOMBYE every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
