# Trueflutter vs Pexr

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Trueflutter at 3K against Pexr's 1. Pexr's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Trueflutter sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Pexr sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pexr holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Trueflutter has 3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Trueflutter ships an update fortnightly, Pexr weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
