# Atlas vs FitCtrl

The clearest difference is update cadence: FitCtrl at every 5 days against Atlas's every 3 weeks. Atlas's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Atlas sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and FitCtrl sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Atlas ships an update every 3 weeks, FitCtrl every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
