# Stickies vs Sticky Notes

The clearest difference is rating: Sticky Notes at 4.2 against Stickies's 3.3. Sticky Notes also leads on review sentiment (67% vs 29%). Stickies's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stickies sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Sticky Notes sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sticky Notes holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stickies has 467 ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 29% of Stickies's written reviews are positive against 67% of Sticky Notes's.

Stickies ships an update weekly, Sticky Notes every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
