# Spidget! vs Magical Artist

The clearest difference is rating: Spidget! at 5.0 against Magical Artist's 3.6. Magical Artist's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 33 months) and ratings volume (16 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spidget! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Magical Artist sells 28 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Spidget! holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Magical Artist has 16 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Spidget! ships an update every 33 months, Magical Artist every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
