# Spidget! vs Package Hero

The clearest difference is rating: Spidget! at 5.0 against Package Hero's 4.5. Spidget! also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). Package Hero's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 33 months) and ratings volume (457 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spidget! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Package Hero sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Spidget! holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Package Hero has 457 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Spidget! ships an update every 33 months, Package Hero every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
