# PicScratch vs Cloakyy

The clearest difference is update cadence: PicScratch at every 5 days against Cloakyy's every 11 days. PicScratch also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PicScratch sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Cloakyy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PicScratch ships an update every 5 days, Cloakyy every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
