# PROClassicTV vs Gifbey

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Gifbey at none against PROClassicTV's 1. Gifbey also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 6 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). PROClassicTV's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (12 vs 2). On price, review sentiment and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PROClassicTV sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Gifbey asks for nothing beyond the download.

Gifbey holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PROClassicTV has 12 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

PROClassicTV ships an update every 6 weeks, Gifbey every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
