# duoBooks vs LelaAI

The clearest difference is rating: duoBooks at 4.7 against LelaAI's 4.3. duoBooks also leads on ratings volume (59 vs 3) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. duoBooks sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and LelaAI sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

duoBooks holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: duoBooks has 59 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of duoBooks's written reviews are positive against 75% of LelaAI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

duoBooks ships an update every 2 weeks, LelaAI every 8 days. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
