# duoBooks vs Spanish Reading

duoBooks and Spanish Reading both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Spanish Reading's written reviews are positive against 68% of duoBooks's. Spanish Reading also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). duoBooks's advantage is ratings volume (59 vs 6) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). Both are free to download. duoBooks sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Spanish Reading sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for duoBooks against 4.7 for Spanish Reading. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: duoBooks has 59 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.
