# Exponential Idle vs Balloon Clicker

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Balloon Clicker at none against Exponential Idle's 4. Exponential Idle's advantage is ratings volume (4.1K vs 4) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 11.0). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Exponential Idle sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Balloon Clicker asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Exponential Idle against 5.0 for Balloon Clicker. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Exponential Idle has 4.1K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
