# Taleek vs My English

The clearest difference is update cadence: Taleek at every 2 weeks against My English's every 2 months. Taleek also leads on ratings volume (2.2K vs 15) and rating (4.4 vs 4.1). My English's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Taleek sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and My English sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Taleek holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Taleek has 2.2K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Taleek ships an update every 2 weeks, My English every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
