# Lydbøger vs Nota

The clearest difference is update cadence: Nota at every 2 weeks against Lydbøger's every 5 months. Lydbøger's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Lydbøger ships an update every 5 months, Nota every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
