# DVR Link vs Recolx

DVR Link and Recolx both sit at 3.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 67% of DVR Link's written reviews are positive against 27% of Recolx's. DVR Link also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 14) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Recolx sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. DVR Link asks for nothing beyond the download.

Recolx holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 8 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of DVR Link's written reviews are positive against 27% of Recolx's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DVR Link ships an update weekly, Recolx every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
