# Action vs MicroPets Runner

The clearest difference is rating: MicroPets Runner at 4.8 against Action's 3.7. MicroPets Runner also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 8) and ads (none vs shown). Action's advantage is review sentiment (93% vs 84%). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Action sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. MicroPets Runner asks for nothing beyond the download.

MicroPets Runner holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MicroPets Runner has 74 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 93% of Action's written reviews are positive against 84% of MicroPets Runner's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
