# Calculator vs Math

The clearest difference is update cadence: Math at every 3 days against Calculator's every 3 months. Calculator's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Calculator sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Math sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Calculator ships an update every 3 months, Math every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
