# Avocado vs VetApp

The clearest difference is ads: Avocado at none against VetApp's shown. Avocado also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.1). VetApp's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Avocado ships an update every 2 months, VetApp every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
