# Hyper Roller Coaster vs Poop on RED

The clearest difference is rating: Hyper Roller Coaster at 4.6 against Poop on RED's 4.0. Hyper Roller Coaster also leads on ratings volume (16K vs 6). Poop on RED's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hyper Roller Coaster sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Poop on RED sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hyper Roller Coaster holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hyper Roller Coaster has 16K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of Hyper Roller Coaster's written reviews are positive against 50% of Poop on RED's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Hyper Roller Coaster ships an update every 3 months, Poop on RED every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
