# Lumbercraft vs Base Builder 3D

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Lumbercraft at 38K against Base Builder 3D's 55. Base Builder 3D's advantage is review sentiment (57% vs 33%) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lumbercraft sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Base Builder 3D sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lumbercraft holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lumbercraft has 38K ratings behind it against 55, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Lumbercraft's written reviews are positive against 57% of Base Builder 3D's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lumbercraft ships an update every 3 weeks, Base Builder 3D every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
