# Vault Access vs TMTDN

The clearest difference is monetization model: Vault Access at free with in-app purchases against TMTDN's subscription. Vault Access also leads on ratings volume (47 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). TMTDN's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vault Access sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and TMTDN sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TMTDN holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vault Access has 47 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 88% of Vault Access's written reviews are positive against 100% of TMTDN's.

Vault Access ships an update every 3 months, TMTDN every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
