# EMA Manager vs Protege Access+

The clearest difference is rating: Protege Access+ at 3.5 against EMA Manager's 2.9. EMA Manager's advantage is review sentiment (16% vs 0%) and ratings volume (16 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Protege Access+ holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EMA Manager has 16 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 16% of EMA Manager's written reviews are positive against 0% of Protege Access+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
