# Strive vs HYP

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: HYP at none against Strive's 10. HYP also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (11.0.0 vs 15.0). Strive's advantage is ratings volume (3.1K vs 3). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Strive sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. HYP asks for nothing beyond the download.

HYP holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Strive has 3.1K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
