# Strive vs Steppa

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Steppa at none against Strive's 14. Steppa also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 71%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Strive's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (3.1K vs 7). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Strive sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Steppa asks for nothing beyond the download.

Steppa holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Strive has 3.1K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 71% of Strive's written reviews are positive against 100% of Steppa's.
