# Strive vs Upkeep Social

The clearest difference is monetization model: Upkeep Social at free against Strive's subscription. Upkeep Social also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 71%). Strive's advantage is ratings volume (3.1K vs 10) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Strive sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Upkeep Social sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Strive holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Strive has 3.1K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Strive's written reviews are positive against 100% of Upkeep Social's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Strive ships an update every 8 days, Upkeep Social every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
