# The Best 3D Live Wallpaper vs Code Rain

The clearest difference is rating: The Best 3D Live Wallpaper at 4.4 against Code Rain's 3.8. The Best 3D Live Wallpaper also leads on ratings volume (22K vs 11). Code Rain's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Best 3D Live Wallpaper sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Code Rain sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

The Best 3D Live Wallpaper holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Best 3D Live Wallpaper has 22K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of The Best 3D Live Wallpaper's written reviews are positive against 38% of Code Rain's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

The Best 3D Live Wallpaper ships an update every 2 months, Code Rain every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
