# SkyThings vs Philips EasyKey Plus

The clearest difference is rating: Philips EasyKey Plus at 2.5 against SkyThings's 1.0. Philips EasyKey Plus also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). SkyThings's advantage is review sentiment (25% vs 15%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Philips EasyKey Plus holds the better App Store score, 2.5 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Philips EasyKey Plus has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of SkyThings's written reviews are positive against 15% of Philips EasyKey Plus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SkyThings ships an update every 2 months, Philips EasyKey Plus monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
