# FlowMap vs Fishtechy

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FlowMap at 75% against Fishtechy's 39%. Fishtechy's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlowMap sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Fishtechy asks for nothing beyond the download.

Fishtechy holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fishtechy has 195 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of FlowMap's written reviews are positive against 39% of Fishtechy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FlowMap ships an update every 5 weeks, Fishtechy every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
