# Resolve vs HeartMath

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Resolve at none against HeartMath's 5. Resolve also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). HeartMath's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (4.7K vs 1). On price, rating and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HeartMath sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $39.00 per year. Resolve asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Resolve against 4.9 for HeartMath. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HeartMath has 4.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Resolve ships an update every 7 months, HeartMath every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
