# Writer vs Notes

Both are free to download. Writer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Notes asks for nothing beyond the download.

Writer ships an update every 6 days, Notes every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
