# Happy Printer vs Sway™

The clearest difference is update cadence: Sway™ at weekly against Happy Printer's every 2 months. Sway™ also leads on review sentiment (72% vs 46%) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). Happy Printer's advantage is ratings volume (92K vs 3.5K) and chart position (#69 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Happy Printer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Sway™ sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sway™ holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Happy Printer has 92K ratings behind it against 3.5K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 46% of Happy Printer's written reviews are positive against 72% of Sway™'s.

Happy Printer ships an update every 2 months, Sway™ weekly. Both last shipped on October 19, 2026.
