# Happy Printer vs ThumbDash

The clearest difference is ads: ThumbDash at none against Happy Printer's shown. ThumbDash also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Happy Printer's advantage is ratings volume (93K vs 1) and chart position (#66 vs unranked). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Happy Printer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ThumbDash sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ThumbDash holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Happy Printer has 93K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
