# WatchCharts vs DD Zone

The clearest difference is review sentiment: DD Zone at 86% against WatchCharts's 27%. DD Zone also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 9). WatchCharts's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (1.4K vs 4). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WatchCharts sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $39.00 per month. DD Zone asks for nothing beyond the download.

WatchCharts holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WatchCharts has 1.4K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of WatchCharts's written reviews are positive against 86% of DD Zone's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WatchCharts ships an update every 3 weeks, DD Zone every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
