# WatchCharts vs Acker Storage

The clearest difference is rating: WatchCharts at 4.8 against Acker Storage's 3.7. WatchCharts also leads on ratings volume (1.2K vs 3) and chart position (#40 vs unranked). Acker Storage's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 9) and review sentiment (50% vs 27%). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WatchCharts sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $39.00 per month. Acker Storage asks for nothing beyond the download.

WatchCharts holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WatchCharts has 1.2K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of WatchCharts's written reviews are positive against 50% of Acker Storage's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WatchCharts ships an update every 3 weeks, Acker Storage every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
