# WatchCharts vs giftmaxxing

The clearest difference is review sentiment: giftmaxxing at 100% against WatchCharts's 27%. giftmaxxing also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 9) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks). WatchCharts's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (1.4K vs 1). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WatchCharts sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $39.00 per month. giftmaxxing asks for nothing beyond the download.

WatchCharts holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WatchCharts has 1.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of WatchCharts's written reviews are positive against 100% of giftmaxxing's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WatchCharts ships an update every 3 weeks, giftmaxxing every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
