# Logitech G vs ION Sound Control™

The clearest difference is rating: Logitech G at 4.7 against ION Sound Control™'s 2.5. Logitech G also leads on ratings volume (6.8K vs 96). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Logitech G holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Logitech G has 6.8K ratings behind it against 96, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of Logitech G's written reviews are positive against 20% of ION Sound Control™'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
