# ALPAKA vs Junghans

The clearest difference is rating: ALPAKA at 4.9 against Junghans's 2.3. ALPAKA also leads on review sentiment (59% vs 20%) and ratings volume (780 vs 4). Junghans's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ALPAKA holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ALPAKA has 780 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 59% of ALPAKA's written reviews are positive against 20% of Junghans's.

ALPAKA ships an update fortnightly, Junghans monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
