# ALPAKA vs Oblik Design

The clearest difference is rating: ALPAKA at 4.9 against Oblik Design's 3.9. ALPAKA also leads on ratings volume (780 vs 30) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). Oblik Design's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ALPAKA holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ALPAKA has 780 ratings behind it against 30, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of ALPAKA's written reviews are positive against 61% of Oblik Design's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ALPAKA ships an update fortnightly, Oblik Design every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
