# PWTees vs Fire Merch

PWTees and Fire Merch both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 90% of Fire Merch's written reviews are positive against 37% of PWTees's. PWTees's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (3.3K vs 282). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for PWTees against 4.9 for Fire Merch. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PWTees has 3.3K ratings behind it against 282, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 37% of PWTees's written reviews are positive against 90% of Fire Merch's.

PWTees ships an update fortnightly, Fire Merch every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
