# iWFCam vs Lygo Connect

The clearest difference is rating: Lygo Connect at 3.7 against iWFCam's 2.1. Lygo Connect also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly). iWFCam's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iWFCam sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Lygo Connect sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lygo Connect holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 2.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 144 and 110 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of iWFCam's written reviews are positive against 8% of Lygo Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iWFCam ships an update monthly, Lygo Connect every 10 days. Both last shipped on November 7, 2026.
