# iWFCam vs Drones for DJI

The clearest difference is rating: Drones for DJI at 4.5 against iWFCam's 2.2. Drones for DJI also leads on ratings volume (2.8K vs 145) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). iWFCam's advantage is monetization model (free vs subscription) and ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iWFCam sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Drones for DJI sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Drones for DJI holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drones for DJI has 2.8K ratings behind it against 145, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of iWFCam's written reviews are positive against 11% of Drones for DJI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iWFCam ships an update monthly, Drones for DJI every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
