# ShopKit vs RIF

The clearest difference is update cadence: RIF at every 2 weeks against ShopKit's every 5 weeks. RIF also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ShopKit ships an update every 5 weeks, RIF every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
