# Apolloware vs ShortMemo

The clearest difference is update cadence: ShortMemo at every 9 days against Apolloware's monthly. ShortMemo also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Apolloware ships an update monthly, ShortMemo every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
