# Fastival vs Fast

The clearest difference is rating: Fast at 4.7 against Fastival's 3.6. Fast also leads on ratings volume (3.3K vs 13) and review sentiment (75% vs 53%). Fastival's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fastival sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Fast sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fast holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fast has 3.3K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 53% of Fastival's written reviews are positive against 75% of Fast's.

Fastival ships an update monthly, Fast every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
