# Fastival vs Intermittent Fasting

The clearest difference is rating: Intermittent Fasting at 4.8 against Fastival's 3.6. Intermittent Fasting also leads on ratings volume (1K vs 13) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). Fastival's advantage is iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fastival sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Intermittent Fasting sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Intermittent Fasting holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Intermittent Fasting has 1K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 53% of Fastival's written reviews are positive against 50% of Intermittent Fasting's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fastival ships an update monthly, Intermittent Fasting every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
