# SneakerBar vs Mianimed

SneakerBar and Mianimed both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Mianimed's written reviews are positive against 67% of SneakerBar's. Mianimed also leads on update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 11 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). SneakerBar's advantage is ratings volume (255 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for SneakerBar against 5.0 for Mianimed. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SneakerBar has 255 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 67% of SneakerBar's written reviews are positive against 100% of Mianimed's.

SneakerBar ships an update every 11 months, Mianimed every 4 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
