# Nextmotion Capture vs B&D

The clearest difference is rating: B&D at 2.5 against Nextmotion Capture's 1.0. B&D also leads on ratings volume (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 26.0). Nextmotion Capture's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 33%) and update cadence (every 4 days vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nextmotion Capture sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $49.99 per month and B&D sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

B&D holds the better App Store score, 2.5 against 1.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Nextmotion Capture's written reviews are positive against 33% of B&D's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Nextmotion Capture ships an update every 4 days, B&D monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
